 Purpose:  To Plant a New Testament Church among newly evangelized believers.

“They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples...strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith...Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church.” Acts 14:21, 22a, 23a NIV

 Range of Stories:  Acts 1:12-12:24

 1.        Introduce the concept of the New Testament Church as a body of baptized believers[A1] .

 2.        Introduce the practice and worship of the early church as a model.

 3.        Introduce the attitude of the early believers whose lives had been changed by Christ.

 4.        The giving of the Holy Spirit.
