Miao or Hmong?: Both terms
are used for this people group, though many Hmong from SE Asia see the title
"Miao" as derogatory". The self-designation for most Miao in China
can be traced to the name "Hmong", so learn why we use the term Miao and
not Hmong to refer to them.
